Jeff possesses over twenty years of experience executing investments in the multi-housing sector. With aggregate transaction value exceeding $1.6 billion, he has acquired over 130 assets representing approximately 30,000 units in 50+ cities throughout the Southeast and Midwest.
Jeff sets the firm’s overall strategy, driving deal origination, guiding business plans for each investment, and fostering lasting relationships with capital partners.
Prior to founding BRECAP, Jeff led the acquisition efforts for a Nashville-based fund manager and was integral to growing the firm’s assets under management from $20 million to over $700 million during his tenure. He has extensive experience in fund raising, contract negotiation, opportunity sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, capital markets, renovation, and asset management.
A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jeff holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School (UNC — Chapel Hill, NC 2002) and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia (Charlottesville, VA 1994).
